Usman Ahmed – GRP ®
An extensive and rich experience of over 20 years in various facets of Total Rewards components in diversified industries across the globe. He has helped and added value in organization’s rewards framework in leading organizations locally and internationally in oil & gas, FMCG, fertilizer, metals & mining, chemical, banking and consulting sectors.
Extensively worked and advised the organizations on formulating and aligning remunerations strategies and defining their reward philosophy. Subsequently translating the reward strategy and philosophy through defining organizational architecture (organization chart, job analysis, job evaluation and job design), developing grading structures and setting up pay ranges based on market benchmarks. Assisted many organizations in setting up their pay for performance structure by developing performance management system and subsequently establishing the short term incentive schemes (annual bonus) linked with the individual and organizational performances which has led the organizations to reward employees based on achievements levels.
Significant amount of work has been done in developing the long-term incentives schemes and retention plans for the senior and critical resources. Usman enjoys helping the organizations in their rewards matters and works closely with them, for solutions based on market best practices, industry dynamics and organization’s specific requirements.
Having a dual masters degrees in Finance and Human Resources along with GRP® certification makes him a valuable advisor and expert for any organization aiming to optimize its total rewards system.
